The 48 Hour Film Project will be in Buffalo the weekend of Aug. 10. Filmmakers from across the area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The Polish Heritage Dancers seek new members for their upcoming season. Polish dances, songs and traditions will be learned, and members will participate in various seasonal rituals. Costumes will be provided. Boys and men are especially needed. Auditions

The Niagara Regional Theatre Guild will hold auditions for its opening production of "Fiddler on the Roof" as well as "Broadway in Concert V" at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in Cardinal O'Hara Performing Arts Center, 39 O'Hara Road, Tonawanda.
