A free community health information program titled "Knee and Hip Replacement -- Is It Right For You?" will be presented at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 in the community room at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Dr. Cindy Repicci Romanowski, a physiatrist with the Joint Reconstruction Orthopedic Center, will talk about the signs and symptoms of arthritis, give an overview of knee and hip replacement surgery and rehabilitation therapy following surgery, and present new options in joint replacement. She will take questions after the presentation. For required registration, call 447-6205.


The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition-New York will meet at 7 p.m. next Tuesday at the Southgate Plaza Community Meeting Room, Union Road and Seneca Street, West Seneca. For information, call 662-2083. Family, friends and September walk/run volunteers are welcome.
