Niagara Honor Roll /Achievers and achievements

* Sarah Schul, a home-schooled pupil in Lewiston who just completed fifth grade, was recently honored by the Niagara Falls Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution as the winner of the chapter's annual flag essay.

She received a $20 cash prize, a table flag and a certificate for an essay titled "What the Flag of the United States of America Means to Me."

Sarah is the daughter of Kevin and Tammy Schul.

* Child Advocacy Center of Niagara Executive Director Ann Marie Tucker recently accepted a check for more than $1,200 from Freewheelers Car Club Treasurer Sharon Lewis, Midge Giannini of the Niagara County Credit Unions and Freewheelers Vice President Jerry Petito, following the club's annual car show and silent auction at Page's Whistle Pig in the Town of Niagara.

The Niagara County Credit Unions were the major contributors of baskets for the event.
