Canadian trucker found with child pornography

FORT ERIE, Ont. -- A New Brunswick truck driver was found Tuesday with a quantity of child pornography in his rig when he attempted to re-enter Canada, Niagara Regional Police reported.

Daniel Dallaire, 29, of Moncton, New Brunswick, was charged with possession and importation of child pornography and held pending a bail hearing in St. Catharines.

Canada Border Services officers found the printed material containing the alleged child pornography in a duffel bag under the bunk of the sleeper area of the truck's cab, police said.

The material was seized, and the driver was charged $500 to have his vehicle released.
