REALITY THEATER: Teen Reality Theater will present its year-end performance, "Inside Out: The Reality of Teen Pregnancy," at 7 p.m. Friday at McKinley High School., 1500 Elmwood Ave. The production was written and produced by local teens. Admission is free and open to the public.


"FAME" ON STAGE: A 40-member cast of young people from various area schools and the community will star in the Niagara Fine Arts Program's production of "Fame -- The Musical!" at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday and again July 27 and 28 at Niagara Falls High School, 4455 Porter Road. FROM THE TOP: Violinist Alex Boissennault, a 2007 graduate of Williamsville South, will perform the third movement of Wieniawski's Concerto No. 2 in D Minor with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at 3 p.m. Sunday during the BPO's Summerfest at Artpark. Alex is one of four young performers from around the country chosen to appear on National Public Radio's "From the Top" highlighting the nation's most promising young classical musicians. A longtime student with Buffalo Suzuki Strings, Alex won the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra Senior Concerto Competition and will study violin at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in Bloomington this fall.


VOLUNTEERS: The Audubon Library, 350 John James Audubon Parkway, Amherst, is seeking high school volunteers to help with a Scholastic book fair July 23 to 27. Call 689-4922, Ext. 17.


CLARIFICATION: Grover Cleveland High School has several English as a Second Language teachers. A July 4 NeXt story profiling five students gave the impression there was only one ESL teacher.
