Canisius College recently named Debra S. Park associate vice president for public relations. Park joined Canisius as director of public relations in 1998 and previously served as director of development communication for Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The National Association of Professional and Executive Women named Kathleen M. Eckert of Knight Industrial Supplies to the 'Women of Excellence' registry. Eckert, in her field for more than 17 years, oversees all business operations, financial administration and sales at her company.

The Niagara USA Chamber appointed Deanna Alterio Brennan president and chief executive officer. Brennan, who most recently served at the Niagara Small Business Development Center, has owned and operated several small businesses during her career. She is a Niagara University business commerce graduate.

Gardei Industries, a North Tonawanda grinding wheel blotter and label producer and printed and nonprinted custom die cut products manufacturer, appointed Thomas Surwill vice president of sales. Previously national sales and marketing manager at DDM Direct, Surwill has more than 25 years in sales and management leadership in the print, direct marketing and fulfillment business. He obtained an political science degree from John Carroll University in Cleveland.
