Motorcycles, food and fun will all be part of this weekend's fourth annual Downtown Jamestown Thunder in the Streets motorcycle rally. The three-day event kicks off Friday.
Tiffani Reynolds, special projects manager for Downtown Jamestown Development Corporation, said the PsychoBuells motorcycle stunt team will return and will be part of the opening-day events starting at 6 p.m.
The PsychoBuells is a team of motorcycle stunt men from central Pennsylvania who have been wowing crowds all over the East Coast for the past five years and performed for the first time in Jamestown in 2006.
Reynolds said the weekend will be packed with fun things to do.
"Saturday, we start off with a bike blessing at 9:30. We have the scenic bike run that starts at 11. We have numerous bands on Saturday, including Shotgun Suite, Bruce Peterson Blues Project and Willow Creek."
An addition this year is cook and comedian Biker Billy, whose motto is "Eat Hot and Ride Safe."
"His show is called 'Biker Billy Cooks with Fire.' He has his own TV show. He's a cook, and he emphasizes safe cooking and safe riding," Reynolds said.
Biker Billy will demonstrate his cooking skills during shows at 1 and 6 p.m. Saturday.
Sunday will feature the Jamestown Shrine Club Krazy Karts.
Event proceeds will benefit the renovation of the Erie Lackawanna train station.
