Dopkins and Company promoted Thomas D. Devereaux to supervisor in its general services department, and Keith J. Cedro and Tricia A. White to senior accountants. Devereaux joined the firm in 2003. He is a graduate of Niagara University. Cedro, a Canisius College graduate, joined the firm in 2005. White, with the firm since 2002, is a graduate of the University at Brockport.


E-3 Communications, a public relations and public affairs agency with offices in Buffalo and Albany, promoted Benjamin B. Roberts to senior account executive. Roberts joined the agency as an account executive in 2005. He received a master's of sports administration from Canisius College and a bachelor of arts degree from Clark University.


Goldberg Segalla partner Daniel W. Gerber was named chairman of the board of management for the Southtowns YMCA.


Finger Lakes Technologies Group, a communication and data networking provider with an office in North Tonawanda, recently hired Rich Ford as an account manager. Also hired is Christopher Giglio as field engineer responsible for the installation of networks, IP telephony systems and security components.

Flynn and Friends, a Buffalo advertising agency, recently created Web sites for NCAComp, at, and also for the University at Buffalo's Marching Band, the Thunder of the East, at NCAComp, located in the Rand Building in Buffalo, is an administrator of self-insured workers' compensation and disability programs for both large and small employers in upstate New York.


Cannon Design's recently completed Langdon Woods, a residence hall for Plymouth State University, is New Hampshire's first residence hall and one of the nation's largest to earn gold-level certification by the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program.


J. Fitzgerald Group, a Lockport-based advertising and marketing agency, recently completed a series of launch brochures and videos for Volvo Compact Equipment, based in Belley, France.


Yancey's Fancy, New York's Artisan cheese company headquartered in Corfu, was named the official cheese of the Buffalo Bisons. The company will have promotional giveaways at ball games and stands with cheese samples at select games and events. Also, the company's Original Buffalo Wing Hot Sauce Cheddar will be used on cheeseburgers and cheddar fries at Pettibones Grille located at Dunn Tire Ball Park.



The Buffalo Niagara Association of Realtors is collecting 'Suitcases for Kids' during the month of July. The BNAR will collect new or gently used suitcases, backpacks and duffel bags at 100 Sylvan Parkway, Amherst; Hunt Real Estate offices in Amherst and Hamburg; M.J. Peterson, Lockport; and Realty USA, West Seneca. The collected items will be distributed in August to various agencies to aid foster children.
