Rios brings down the house

SAN FRANCISCO -- Colorado's Matt Holliday started the semifinals with eight home runs, including a 469-footer down the left-field line that cleared the top row of the bleacher But Toronto's Alex Rios got the fans on their feet with 12 bombs, topped by a massive one to the base of the scoreboard in dead center. They haven't given us a distance on that one but it had to be the longest of the competition, in the 500-foot range.

Rios got a standing ovation that lasted over his final two swings and a huge roar after his 10th out.  Vladimir Guerrero and Albert Pujols are still to come.
