Christopher Harry Parker, a former sound technician, died Tuesday in Erie County Medical Center from head trauma suffered in a June 27 assault. He was 52.
Mr. Parker was born in Erie, Pa., and grew up in Kenmore, where he graduated from Kenmore East High School. He served in the Navy on the USS Nimitz.
The Buffalo resident worked as a sound technician with Big Wheelie and the Hubcaps, and as a laborer with several companies.
Survivors include his son, William Thomas; his parents, Dolores Marynowski and George T. Parker; and sisters Kathleen P. Mayer and Helene H. O'Hara.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. today in St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 885 Sweet Home Road, Amherst.
