Herd set for BPO Night

The Buffalo Bisons are going for a four-game sweep of the Rochester Red Wings tonight in the annual Independence Eve celebration in Dunn Tire Park in front of what's expected to be a sellout crowd.  "USA" is carved into the grass in center field, there are red, white and blue stars painted on the grass in front of the dugouts and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing from the right-field party deck after the game.

The Herd is facing a tough challenge in Rochester right-hander Nick Blackburn, who has thrown 41 straight innings without an earned run over his last seven appearances -- including two complete-game shutouts.

Eric Dubose (2-0) starts tonight for the Bisons in his fifth appearance since signing June 9 as a free agent. Here's the Herd lineup:

Hector Luna, ss

Luis Rivas, 2b

Joe Inglett, lf

Ryan Mulhern, 1b

Jason Cooper, rf

Andy Marte, 3b

Mike Rose, c

Trent Durrington, dh

Jonathan Van Every, cf
