>School Board will hear about using wind power

FREDONIA -- The Fredonia School Board will learn about the pros and cons of wind power at its next regular meeting set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13 in the high school library.

School Superintendent Paul DiFonzo said during Tuesday's board meeting that Benjamin Spitzer, superintendent of the Chautauqua Lake School District, and James Joy, chairman of the Pomfret Town Planning Board, would be at the meeting to tell Fredonia officials how wind power might affect the school district.

DiFonzo said the school district could be interested in wind power if it is environmentally sound and can help the school district.
