4. You knew there would be a flurry or two by now. That's why the Buffalo Museum of Science crowned this weekend Blizzard Weekend, featuring a slew of winter-themed activities including winter botany talks, the science of snowmaking and snowshoe bingo (just kidding).
Cost included with museum admission: $7 adults, $6 seniors and $5 children. Blizzard hours are: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
