St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 1520 E. Delavan Ave. will host a farewell Mass at 10 a.m. Sunday for its pastor, the Rev. Paul D. Seil, who is taking a sabbatical to study in Rome.
Seil, who also serves as diocesan director of the Office of Worship and hosts the religious-oriented cooking show "Our Daily Bread," will be taking a new parish assignment in the diocese upon his return in May.
Seil will be studying at the Pontifical North American College in Rome.
Pro-lifers to march
Members of the Buffalo Regional Right to Life Committee will depart at 8 p.m. Sunday for the 34th annual March for Life Monday in Washington, D.C.
