*Amy Ritchie, store promotions coordinator for Babies R Us in Amherst, recently presented a basket of toys and baby accessories to Kenneth Agee and Nina McCray after the birth of the daughter Alyssa Lynn Agee-McCray in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Alyssa Lynn, was 20 inches long and 7 pounds when she became the first baby born in Niagara Falls in the new year at 4:36 p.m. New Year's Day.
*Niagara University men's hockey players Nate Bostic, Jim Burichin and Tyler Gotto recently presented toys and a cash donation to Senior Case Coordinator Nicole Haffa of the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. The toys and cash were donated by fans at a December home game hosted by the nationally ranked Purple Eagles. The Child Advocacy Center of Niagara is a countywide resource providing a place for multi-disciplinary teams to investigate allegations of child abuse in a child-friendly environment.
