>Superintendent search reportedly 'going well'

The search for a new superintendent for the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda School District is "going well," the School Board president said Tuesday night.

Last month, the board hired LeaderFind, a Cortland consulting firm, to help find the replacement for Superintendent Steven A. Achramovitch, who resigned in October.

Board President Melissa Brinson said she has been in contact with Lee G. Peters, a partner in LeaderFind. A brochure about the opening will be mailed to superintendents statewide, and Peters also will be attending professional conventions.
