It's a Saturday night just after winter break and you're dying to do something fun but you've got no ideas. Well, look no further than HSBC Arena, and no, I'm not talking about a Sabres game. Believe it or not, we have a professional lacrosse team that goes by the name of the Buffalo Bandits.
The Bandits have been in Buffalo for the past 14 years and have won the NLL championship three times. The games are held at HSBC Arena and are always lots of fun with music that makes you want to dance, exciting action on the field, and diehard fans who add so much excitement to the spectator area that the noise competes with that of a Sabres playoff game. Tickets range from $19 for the 300 level to $29 for the 100 level. So even the most expensive seats in the house won't make too big a dent in your pocket.
Not a lacrosse fan? Who cares! Whether you like lacrosse or not, or even if you have never seen the sport in your life, the games are fun. At any given break in the game there are people dancing and singing along to the music and even mini=lacrosse games for local teams.
It doesn't matter where you sit in the arena, because no matter what you are going to have fun. There is just as much yelling coming from the 300 level as there is from the lower 100 level.
So next time you're bored on a Friday or Saturday night call up a friend or get the family together and go to a Bandits game. It's all-ages fun for everyone and won't break your bank account.
