B&L Wholesale gets tax breaks

B&L Wholesale Supply was granted $183,750 in tax breaks Monday by the Erie County Industrial Development Agency to help the wholesale building materials distributor consolidate its corporate credit, sales and marketing operations at its Buffalo office.

The expansion is expected to add eight jobs to the company's current 80-person work force at 1 Bud-Mil Drive in Buffalo.

B&L plans to build a 4,000-square-foot addition to its 14,000-square-foot building, which the Rochester-based company also plans to renovate as part of the $1.4 million project.
