>School Board accepts Crider's resignation
SANBORN -- The Niagara-Wheatfield School Board accepted the resignation Wednesday of longtime board member Patty Crider.
Crider, whose term expires in June, made her resignation effective Monday. She stated that her work schedule made it difficult for her to attend meetings on a regular basis. She has been on the board for nearly nine years.
School Superintendent Judith Howard said the board will either appoint a replacement to fill the remainder of her term, hold a special election or wait for the general election in May. The board is expected to make a decision when it meets Feb. 7.
