GIANT AUCTION sponsored by the West Seneca Satellite "Variety Kids Telethon" is all set to go from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in Harvey D. Morin Post 2940, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 965 Center Road, West Seneca.

More than 100 items will be auctioned at the event, which marks the 31st year helping the kids by the Satellite. There will be entertainment, raffles and games for children. Refreshments will be available. All proceeds will be donated to the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, Robert Warner Rehabilitation Center and other children's charities.


A RECENT GRADUATE from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio is Airman Andrew D. Diel. He is the son of Ann White of Sanborn. He graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield Senior High School in 2004.
