CORI LECTURE: Dr. Craig B. Thompson will present the 2006 Cori Lecture at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Research Studies Center at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm and Carlton streets. Thompson will discuss implications of the Coris' research today on the molecular basis for the metabolism of cancer. The Cori Lecture honors Drs. WALKING PROGRAM: "Passport to Wellness: Walking for Health" program for older adults 50 plus will host six guided indoor walks at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in the food courts at several area malls. EVENT: A kickoff party and cycling clinic to prepare and inform riders of the 15th annual Tour de Cure to Benefit the American Diabetes Association will be held March 30 in Holiday Inn, 1881 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst. FISH FRY: The Ken-Ton Special Education PTSA will hold a fish fry dinner fund-raiser, 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Herbert Hoover Middle School on Sheridan Drive, Town of Tonawanda. FEST: Canisius College's seventh annual International Fest, celebrating ethnic diversity, will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Richard E. Winter '42 Student Center.
