David A. Mitschang Nov. 5, 1982 -- Feb. 19, 2006

Services for David A. Mitschang were held Wednesday in Forest Lawn Chapel, followed by burial in Forest Lawn.

Mr. Mitschang, of the Town of Tonawanda, died in an automobile accident about 1 a.m. Feb. 19 in Lockport. He was 23.

A native of Buffalo, he was a graduate of Kenmore East High School.

He owned and operated Pane in the Glass, a window washing business in the Town of Tonawanda.

He enjoyed drawing and especially helping and hanging out with his friends, said his mother, Julie Poage Mitschang of the Town of Tonawanda.

He also is survived by his father and stepmother, David H. and Stephanie of the Town of Tonawanda; a daughter, Christina, and a son, Tyler, both of Buffalo; a brother, Jason Vollmer of Buffalo; his maternal grandfather, David H. Poage of Roanoke, Va.; and his paternal grandparents, Lillian and Herbert Mitschang of Getzville.
