Robbery victim slashed; two suspects are sought
A Buffalo man was was robbed and slashed by two men -- one wielding a knife, the other armed with a gun -- early Thursday while he was walking home from work, police said.
Northwest District police said the victim was confronted by two men at about 1:40 a.m. at Austin and Tonawanda streets.
One man held up a knife, while the other placed a gun to his head.
Officers said the robbers stole the victim's black jacket, $200, ring, cell phone, and the sneakers on his feet. When the victim tried to run away, the man with the knife cut him on his left hand.
The men fled the scene, possibly escaping in a tan vehicle.
