Josephine Puglia, of Lake View, died Saturday in Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Las Vegas, after a brief illness. She was 77.
Born Josephine Berrafato in Buffalo, she graduated from Grover Cleveland High School.
A homemaker, Mrs. Puglia was an active volunteer at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Lake View.
Her family said she had been spending time with relatives in Las Vegas for the past year.
Her husband of 56 years, Carmen, died last May.
Survivors include two sons, Michael of Las Vegas and Vincent of Ocala, Fla.; two daughters, Jo Ann Porter of Hamburg and Michelle Viselli of Las Vegas; three sisters, Ann Ruzzine, Debbie Louisos and Grace Valente, all of Buffalo; four brothers, Louis Berrafato of Clarence, Paul Berrafato of Baldwinsville and Richard Berrafato and Frank Berrafato, both of Las Vegas; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be scheduled in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
