Application forms for the Buffalo Infringement Festival, which celebrates small-scale theater and other art forms in Western New York, are now available on the festival Web site, www.infringebuffalo.org. Members of the community interested in helping organize the festival are invited to attend an open meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in Allen Street Hardware, 245 Allen St.
Artpark's "First Niagara Tuesday in the Park at Artpark" concert series is accepting solicitations from top performers in Western New York and Southern Ontario to headline the inaugural summer of "Artpark Wednesdays." Interested artists and bands should submit all information (including audio samples, published reviews, references and contact info) to Attn: "Artpark Wednesdays," 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston, NY 14092. All inquiries must be received by April 1.
Calls for Works
Impact Artists Gallery is seeking works for its "Young Women's Exhibition" from artists ages 14 to 24 who reside in Western New York. Up to four pieces of original work may be submitted. The entry fee is $10 for each piece or $25 for four. Works must be brought between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 28 and 29 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 30 to the gallery, Suite 545, 2495 Main St.
Applications are available for the 40th annual Lewiston Art Festival. New rules, categories and jury procedures are in effect. Applications can be obtained by calling 754-0166, e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or at www.artcouncil.org.
