Thomas M. Costello of Ellicottville, a former autoworker, died Feb. 15 in Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo, after a brief illness. He was 66.
Born in Buffalo, he was a graduate of Riverside High School. He was a tow motor operator for 15 years at the Chevrolet plant in the Town of Tonawanda, then worked at various roofing and construction jobs.
Mr. Costello moved from Riverside to Ellicottville 15 years ago. He formerly attended All Saints Catholic Church and was a social member of Ellicottville Memorial Post 659, American Legion.
He enjoyed fixing cars.
Surviving are his former wife, Patricia of Buffalo; three sons, Michael and Daniel, both of Ellicottville, and Robert of Williamsville; a daughter, Kristen Roll of Buffalo; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
