Cotton fabrics, blankets and quilts suitable for children will be collected at a meeting of Buffalo City Council of Beta Sigma Phi at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Harlem Road Community Center, Eggertsville. Members of Epsilon Master and Kappa Nu chapters will be dessert hostesses.

"Quilts, Quilts, Quilts" is the theme of the luncheon sponsored by Batavia Women's Connection of Stonecroft Ministries at 11:30 a.m. March 7 in Bohn's Restaurant, Batavia. Romulus Women's Auxiliary will have a St. Joseph's Day Table beginning at 6:30 p.m. next Thursday in Banchetti by Rizzo's. Joanne Conboy is chairwoman. Proceeds will benefit the Store Front Ward Center, administered by Sisters of Mercy.

TWIGS of Buffalo will host an "American Girl Fashion Show" to benefit Women and Children's Hospital at 11 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 11 and March 12 in Samuel's Grande Manor. Immaculata Academy presents its annual Shamrock Sweepstakes beginning at 7 p.m. March 11 at Hilbert College's Hafner Center, 5200 South Park Ave., Hamburg. Theme basket raffles, split clubs and other prizes will be offered throughout the evening, with a grand prize of $5,000.
