Lewis T. Blackley, a former construction project manager, died Feb. 2 at home in Walterboro, S.C., after a brief illness. He was 58.
The Buffalo native graduated from Kenmore East High School.
He served in the Army during the 1960s and was stationed in South Korea.
Mr. Blackley was a project manager on building projects at several military bases, including the Beaufort Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, S.C. Before that, he was on the maintenance staff at M.J. Peterson Corp.
Survivors include his wife, the former Shirley Ormand; his former wife, the former Marion Jones of Buffalo; five sons, Peter of Orange Park, Fla., Aaron of the City of Tonawanda; Robert Pratz of Baltimore, Michael Pratz of Walterboro and Dale Pratz of Austell, Ga.; two daughters, Cheryl Pratz of Marietta, Ga., and Patricia Gunter of Middleburg, Fla.; a sister, Elaine Langworthy of the City of Tonawanda; and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Tonawanda Church of Christ, Delaware Street and Summit Avenue, City of Tonawanda.
