Pamela V. Suttle, a longtime employee of the City of Buffalo, died Wednesday of natural causes in Erie County Medical Center. She was 58.
A lifelong resident of Buffalo, Ms. Suttle was a graduate of East High School and earned an associate's degree from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute. She worked as a secretary in City Hall for 15 years and later for seven years as a bus aide before retiring in 1990 on disability.
A Jehovah's Witness, she was a member of the Delaware Park Congregation.
Known as "Granny," Ms. Suttle enjoyed shopping, reading, cooking, working on crossword puzzles and watching wrestling.
Survivors include two daughters, Doreen Davis and Selene, both of Buffalo; a son, Willie J. Knightner of Buffalo; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Providence Memorial Chapel, 1275 Sycamore St. Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, West Seneca.
