Services were held Friday for Vidalina Alvarado, who died last Monday in her Buffalo home of renal failure. She was 77. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
Born Vidalina Bracero in Puerto Rico, she had lived in Buffalo for the past 42 years.
Mrs. Alvarado was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Juan C.; seven daughters, Milagros Rivera, Teresa Ponce, Maria Garcia and Lucy Torres, all of Buffalo, Erohita Suarez of Puerto Rico, Teonila Alegria of Ontario, Calif., and Betty of Rochester; two sons, Samuel and Radames, both of Buffalo; a sister, Monserrate Cotty of Puerto Rico; 27 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
