Clarence V. Johannes, a ceramic glazer, died unexpectedly Sunday in his home. He was 61.
Born in Warsaw, he was a lifelong resident of the area and worked for many years as a ceramic glazer for Lapp Insulator in Batavia.
Surviving include two sons, Richard of Silver Springs and Patrick of the Village of Wyoming; a daughter, DonnaJo Reichert of Le Roy; a brother, Edwin of Wyoming; a half brother, Robert of Gainesville; two half sisters, Hazel Preedom and Anna Frazier, both of Batavia; six grandchildren; and his companion of five years, Jeanne Kerwin of Warsaw.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery.
