Annabelle C. Pasquarella, typist, track star
March 2, 1928 -- Feb. 18, 2006

A Mass of Christian Burial for Annabelle C. Pasquarella will be offered at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3148 Abbott Road, Orchard Park. Prayers will be said at 8:15 in Lombardo Funeral Home, 3060 Abbott Road, Orchard Park. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Hamburg.

Mrs. Pasquarella died Saturday in the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Cheektowaga. She was 77.

She lived in Orchard Park for 60 years before moving to Hamburg three years ago.

Born Annabelle Scarpello in Buffalo, she graduated from Hutchinson-Central High School, where she won many prizes as a member of the track team. She then worked for many years as a typist for Addressograph Multigraph Corp.

She was a founding member of the Catholic Youth Organization at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church.

A sports fan, Mrs. Pasquarella was a Buffalo Bills season ticket holder.

Her husband of nearly 50 years, Angelo J., died in February 2000.

Survivors include a daughter, Annette Mathews of Hamburg; two sons, Michael of Hamburg and Angelo Jr. of Orchard Park; a sister, Nita Lima of Orchard Park; and three grandchildren.
