Jean L. Kehoe, a retired sales clerk, died Wednesday in Northgate Manor Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, after a long illness. She was 83.
The former Jean Poeller, a longtime resident of the City of Tonawanda, worked as a sales clerk at Brandon's women's apparel store in the City of Tonawanda and AM&A's in the Town of Tonawanda. She retired in 1990 after 20 years in retail.
Mrs. Kehoe was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and a former member of the Auxiliary of Tonawandas Post 264, American Legion, both in the City of Tonawanda.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Andrew J. Jr.; a daughter, Katie Abramo of North Tonawanda; a son, Jim of Phenix City, Ala.; four sisters, Margaret Wurtenberger and Ethel Muniak, both of the City of Tonawanda, and Faith Threader and June Brown, both of Ohio; two brothers, Dick Poeller of the City of Tonawanda and Keith Poeller of Niagara Falls; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday in John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., City of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Pendleton.
