WHEATFIELD -- Dolores J. Demler, who worked at R.P. Adams in the Town of Tonawanda for many years, died Tuesday in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda, after a brief illness. She was 88.
Born Dolores Meyer in North Tonawanda, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Demler was a longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda.
She retired from R.P. Adams in the 1980s.
Her husband of 65 years, Robert T., died Jan. 29.
Mrs. Demler enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.
Surviving are a daughter, Judie Burgess of Orlando, Fla.; two sons, Dale A. of Wheatfield and Calvin R. of Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Rhoney Funeral Home, 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn. Private burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.
