Udene F. Oldman Canham, a retired lab technician, died Sunday surrounded by friends and family in United Memorial Medical Center. She was 60.
She was a graduate of Attica Central School and worked for 20 years as a laboratory technician at what is now United Memorial Medical Center, retiring in 2001.
She was active with Literacy Volunteers in Genesee County and was a volunteer for the March of Dimes. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Benjamin; a son, James of Chapel Hill, N.C.; a daughter, Carithea Metcalfe of Medina, Ohio; a sister, Gail Shadbolt of Attica; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main St., Attica. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
