Charles O. Nagele of DeBary, Fla., a former Clarence resident and retired senior vice president of HSBC Bank USA, died Monday in his home after a lengthy illness. He was 62.
Mr. Nagele was born in Yonkers and attended local schools. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration at Pace University in New York City.
He worked for 33 years at what is now HSBC Bank USA, moving to the company's Buffalo offices in 1991. He retired in 2003 as senior vice president and moved to Florida the same year.
Mr. Nagele was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in DeBary.
Surviving are his wife of 14 years, Angela Middione Nagele; three sons, Matthew of Hamburg and Richard and Craig, both of Depew; a daughter, Keri of Peekskill; a stepdaughter, LaRiena Ralph of Philadelphia; two sisters, Irene Hetz of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Paula Troy of Yonkers; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be scheduled in DeBary.
