ANNUAL PARTY -- The Buffalo Police Benevolent Association will hold its annual retirement party at 7 p.m. Thursday in Iron Workers Hall, 196 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca.

Seventeen members who retired in 2005 will be honored. Four deceased police officers also will be honored. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the PBA office, 74 Franklin St.


WINTERFEST TIME -- St. Thomas Aquinas Parish will present its Winterfest 2006 on Saturday at Col. John B. Weber Post 898, Veterans of Foreign Wars, South Park Avenue, Lackawanna. Call 821-1250 or 824-7864.


SPAGHETTI DINNERS will be served from 1 to 5 p.m. Sundayat Troop I Post, American Legion, 432 Franklin St., according to Helen Jacob, chairwoman of the Armed Forces Committee. She said the tab will be $7 for adults and $3 for children 6 to 10. Younger ones eat free.
