Thaddeus Wierzbicki, a retired assembler at Trico Products Corp., died Wednesday in the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care, Cheektowaga, after a brief illness. He was 82.
A native of East Bethany, he worked 20 years at Trico and before that worked at Seikes.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Buffalo Veterans Association.
Survivors include his wife, the former Justine Skowron; a daughter, Rosemarie Schneider of Holland; three sons, Thaddeus Jr. of Cheektowaga, Walter of North Tonawanda and Mark of Orchard Park; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5337 Genesee St., Bowmansville. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
