ST. MARK SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE: St. Mark School, 399 Woodward Ave. in North Buffalo, will hold its open house and registration for new students in kindergarten to grade seven from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday. CLARENCE WINTER FESTIVAL: The Clarence Chamber of Commerce and the town Youth and Recreation Department will sponsor a winter festival from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday in Town Park. Scheduled activities include sledding, ice skating and a softball tournament. A live band and a magician also are planned for the event. NATIONAL SALUTE: VA Western New York Healthcare System is celebrating National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans with activities planned throughout next week. Local celebrities, elected officials, schoolchildren and other groups will visit. The Buffalo facility on Bailey Avenue will hold an open house at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
