TOWN OF NIAGARA -- Cheryl L. Carr-Crisafulli, a home care aide from the Town of Niagara, died Sunday in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was 50.
Born Cheryl Crisafulli in Niagara Falls, she attended Niagara-Wheatfield High School and Niagara County Community College.
She was a personal care aide and friend to many senior citizens. She attended various Christian churches in the area and enjoyed exploring various cultures.
Surviving are six children, Richie Carr of Charlotte, N.C., Lisa Carr of Niagara Falls, Theresa Carr of Bergholz, Ian Carr of Niagara Falls, Shana Carr of Niagara Falls and Derek Spillman of the Town of Niagara; her father, Vito Crisafulli Sr., and her stepmother, Jane, of Niagara Falls; her mother, Viola, and her stepfather, Jerry Stevens, of Olean; her former husband, Richard A. Carr of the Town of Niagara; a brother, Vito Crisafulli Jr. of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Laurie Crisafulli of Niagara Falls and Melissa Vaughn of Olean; and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be at 8 tonight in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Wheatfield.
