Sonia M. Korpolinski, a former pharmacy technician, died Sunday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a long illness. She was 66.
Mrs. Korpolinski, known as "Toni," was born Sonia Schellhaaff in Niagara Falls, where she graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1958.
She worked as a pharmacy technician at Jay's Drugs in Lewiston until 1980, when she moved to Rome, N.Y. She was employed as an emergency room technician at Rome Memorial Hospital.
She returned to this area in 1994 and worked at the B-Kwik Market in Sanborn until 2004.
Mrs. Korpolinski was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cambria.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Richard; two sons, Richard G. of Youngstown and Duane of Niagara Falls; two
sisters, Ruth Fair of Oswego and Patricia Austin of Rome; and six grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered today in Immaculate Conception Church after prayers in Rhoney Funeral Home, Sanborn. Burial was in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
