>Brampton, Ont., man charged in slaying

BRAMPTON, Ont. -- Police arrested a man Monday on charges of killing a St. Catharines man Dec. 24.

Toyan A. Johnson, 21, turned himself over to detectives of the Niagara Regional Police at his residence. He was charged with murder in the death of Shelston A. Broome, 29, slain at about 2:30 a.m. Dec. 24 in his St. Catharines home.

Police said this would be the last of several arrests of those charged in the shooting.


>Pizza deliveryman robbed of $47 by two men

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman in downtown Buffalo on Sunday evening.

The man, who works for Prima Pizza, said he was returning to his car after making a delivery on Pine Harbor Walk at about 7:50 p.m. when he was approached by two men dressed in dark clothing. One of the men displayed a small, black revolver.

The worker said he handed the robbers $47 cash.
