Michelle C. Rowe, worked for Buffalo Police
March 8, 1956 -- Feb. 2, 2006

Michelle C. Rowe of Buffalo, a report technician for the Buffalo Police, died unexpectedly Thursday in Buffalo General Hospital. She was 49.

The former Michelle Brooks, a Buffalo native, worked for the Police Department since 1995.

A member of Good Samaritan Church of God in Christ, she was a choir member and a past Sunday school superintendent.

Mrs. Rowe earned an associate's degree from Jamestown Community College.

She is survived by her husband, Milton; a daughter, Chantal of Buffalo; a son, Wendell M. Brooks of Virginia Beach, Va.; her mother, Constance Brooks of Buffalo; three sisters, Denise Morse of Buffalo and Elizabeth Burks and Lynnaire Smith, both of Chesapeake, Va.; and five brothers, Jamie M. Brooks of Buffalo and Dennis Brooks, David Brooks, Charles Brooks and Ronnie Peeler, all of Atlanta.

Services will be at noon Wednesday in McCoy Convention Center, 653 Clinton St. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
