NIAGARA FALLS -- Vincent L. Rulli, a truck driver, motorcycle enthusiast and craftsman, died of cancer Saturday in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston. He was 47.
Mr. Rulli was born and raised in Niagara Falls, where he attended school. He also attended Niagara County Community College.
He worked as a truck driver for National Vacuum Corp. in Niagara Falls.
Mr. Rulli had a passion for motorcycles and music, as well as fishing and hunting. He was a talented craftsman and helped family and friends with home improvement projects. He also was involved in breeding Samoyeds and enjoyed caring for MoMo, his Samoyed.
He is survived by his wife of six years, the former Suzanne Hiltz; a son, Steven; a daughter, Nicole; and a stepson, David Vendetti, all of Niagara Falls; a stepdaughter, Danielle Lowe of Stafford, Va.; his parents, Gene and Grace; two sisters, Lisa Kohnke of Wheatfield and Janine Patrick of Las Vegas; a brother, David of Niagara Falls; his grandmother, Catherine Cipolla of Niagara Falls; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2499 Independence Ave. Prayers will be said at 8:45 in M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
