Rose M. Krajcer, retired bookbinder Sept. 14, 1927 -- Feb. 3, 2006

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose M. Krajcer, a retired bookbinder, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Agatha Catholic Church, 65 Abbott Road. Prayers will be said at 8:45 in Schlager Funeral Home, 3060 Abbott Road, Hamburg. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheektowaga.

Mrs. Krajcer died Friday in the same South Buffalo home where she had been born and lived for 78 years.

Born Rose Sabia, one of 12 children, she attended South Park High School.

Mrs. Krajcer worked as a bookbinder for Arcata Graphics, where she received several service awards. She retired in the mid-1970s after more than 30 years with the company.

She was known for her sauce and meatballs, which she dispensed to family members and friends by the jar.

Her husband of 46 years, Robert M., died in 1996.

Survivors include a son, Daryl of Buffalo; a brother, Angelo Sabia of Yorktown Heights; and two grandchildren.
