Florence J. Vanderbosch, dairy farmer
May 30, 1914 -- Jan. 31, 2006

Florence Josephine Vanderbosch of Cottage, a retired dairy farmer, died Tuesday in Lake Shore Hospital, Irving, following a short illness. She was 91.

Born in Orchard Park, the former Florence Weitz was a homemaker and part owner of a family dairy farm in Cottage. She worked there for 25 years before retiring in 1975.

Her interests included baking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Her husband of 54 years, Anthony M., died in 1989.

Surviving are two daughters, Arlene L. Parsell of South Dayton and Mary A. Robbins of Arcade; a sister, Lorane Boehlecke of Chapel Hill, N.C.; five grandchildren; a stepgrandson; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the spring. Burial will be in Cottage Cemetery, Cottage.
