A Mass of Christian Burial for Nellie Barmann will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 71 Adam St., City of Tonawanda.
Mrs. Barmann died Wednesday at home after a long illness. She was 79.
She was born in Lyons and lived in the City of Tonawanda for more than 50 years.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Forever Young and several community organizations.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Jay. H.; two daughters, Cathleen Winiarski of the City of Tonawanda and Madeline; two sons, Thomas Scullion of Chaffee and Richard Scullion of Xenia, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Judy Severin of Amherst; two stepsons, James Barmann of Grand Island and Michael Barmann of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Santino of Lyons and Rose Zulauf of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
