Aging issues are focus of Feb. 24 meeting
Practitioners and service providers in the field of aging will attend their seventh annual town meeting on aging issues at 1 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Cheektowaga Senior Center, 3349 Broadway.
Assemblyman Steve Englebright, chairman of the Assembly Committee on Aging, and a representative of State Sen. Martin Golden, chairman of the Senate Committee on Aging, will address the group and hear testimony.
Those wishing to speak on any concern pertaining to aging services or age-related issues should contact the Network in Aging office at 829-3712 to register. Registration is free, but advance registration is requested.
The Network in Aging is a nonprofit organization that brings together individuals and organizations in Western New York involved in aging and long-term care.
