Kenneth L. Donaldson died Friday in his residence in the City of Tonawanda, after a long battle with lung cancer. He was 59.
Born in Buffalo, he lived most of his life in the City of Tonawanda and was a 1963 graduate of Tonawanda High School. Mr. Donaldson was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era.
For 30 years, he was transportation manager for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines in the Town of Tonawanda and, during the last six years, for Quality Carriers and Transport Inc.
Mr. Donaldson was a skilled bowler, and earned two 300 game rings and one 298 game ring. He enjoyed attending his children's sporting events at Tonawanda High School and after they went off to college.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, the former Bonnie E. Edholm; two sons, Scott F. and Patrick C., of the City of Tonawanda; a sister, Dolores Conrad of Lockport; and a brother, Walter of North Tonawanda.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., City of Tonawanda.
