Of the two declarations made by the Buffalo Regional Right to Life Committee, I'm trying to decide which is more preposterous. The group claims that not only is a gay men's chorus inappropriate for a church, but that conversation, laughing or applause shouldn't occur inside a church.
It strikes me as very odd that singing men could be considered a threat to anything or anyone. Just as ridiculous is the notion that talking, laughing and clapping might somehow desecrate the church. Why take life so seriously?
